Get to know Lapland in winter or summer. We have a wide range of offers so that you can experience every season in Lapland. In winter with our sled dogs, in summer on foot or by canoe. You will be fascinated by the landscape and nature and feel at home with us at Snowtrail Dogcamp Lodge (Kiruna\/G\u00e4llivare).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Relax in the family-friendly sled dog camp and experience the beauty and variety of colors in the land of the midnight sun. We offer you an idyllic vacation home in the seclusion of northern Sweden. Our small, cozy lodge is located far away from any civilization in the middle of the Swedish wilderness about 150 km north of the Arctic Circle between Kiruna and G\u00e4llivare.<\/p>\n

Welcome to the Snowtrail Dogcamp. My name is Mats Pettersson, I am the new owner and host at Snowtrail Dogcamp.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"First of all, I would like to thank Lotti Meier for her trust and the opportunity to take over this wonderful place in the wilderness of Swedish Lapland from her and continue to run it with the same passion for dogs, nature and people.<\/p>\n

I grew up in the Kiruna region and took part seven times in the world’s longest and toughest dog sled dog race, the “Iditarod” in Alaska, which is 1,850 kilometers long.<\/p>\n

During the season, I will be happy to tell my guests about my adventures, experiences and adventures with sled dogs, life in Lapland and of course about the Iditarod Race. I have beautiful pictures to go with it.<\/p>\n

I look forward to welcoming you here at camp soon and sharing my passion for sled dogs and the wonderful nature here with you.<\/p>\n
