Dream Team 19/20

Welcome to the Snowtrail Dogcamp

We are the dream team that will take care of you in the 19/20 season with a lot of joy.

from left: Martina Vogt, Celine Blaser, Stephan Baumann, Serge Furrer, Lies Neckebroeck, Lotti Meier, Bastian Täubig and Nynke Van der Veen.

Martina: 8 years ago Martina started the journey to the camp for the first time and has now returned to Sweden with her experiences from that time and of course Stephan. Therefore she helps wherever someone is needed. Whether it is cleaning our lodge, training the dogs or butchering an elk, Martina stops at nothing... as long as she doesn't meet a living elk or a fireplace isn't cleaned regularly.

Celine: She helps wherever help is needed. But above all, Celine is responsible for the office. She makes sure that all bookings are processed and everything is entered correctly. If there is a question about bookings, she is the first contact person. Also in the morning she is the first person the guests see, because she makes sure that they can start the day with an extensive breakfast. When all the work is done, you will probably find Celine playing the guitar in the cabin. Because Nynke and Celine often make sure with their guitar skills that it never gets too quiet in the cabin.

Stephan: He is mainly responsible for the handicraft work. If something has to be built or something doesn't work, especially if it has to do with electricity, then Stephan with his electrician training is our man. A new ladder, a new wooden lamp, a new table - Lotti, too, with her creative ideas always ensures that Stephan never runs out of work. And otherwise he can also work on his beautiful house - but then Martina sets the tone. Since Stephan can't race around with his motorbike like in Switzerland, he is even more happy when he can replace the motorbike with a snowmobile. Therefore he will also make sure that the guests are chauffeured from the parking lot to the camp as soon as possible. So please hold on tight!

Serge: Our real Valaisan. We have to listen to how great it is there at least once a day. But we really shouldn't complain, because after all he makes sure that there is always enough food on the table. With our demands and our gigantic hunger, this is not so easy.

Read: Most people know her, she has been with us for many, many years. About 10 years ago Lies moved from Belgium to Sweden. Not far away from the camp she built her own home with dogs. Lies has a big part of the responsibility in the camp. An important part of it are the tours in winter. Lies is up to every mishap. Even if a lead dog wants to try a new trail and gets a little off the trail, Lies has still led everyone back to camp safely.

Lotti: The good soul and undisputed boss of the camp, who sees the positive in everyone and with her joy for people, animals and nature is an example for everyone.

Bastian: In winter he makes sure that the guests arrive safely from the airport to the camp. But that is not all! Bastian is also our doghouse construction expert. Since he arrived at the camp, he has been busy building a new, warm home for our dogs. As long as there is a machine humming at work, meat on the table for lunch and he can spend time with his favourite dog Willow, he is happy.

Nynke: It's also the third time she's been here in camp. Her training as a veterinary assistant and her experience from last year are a great help to us. Whether it's to train the dogs, take care of one of the dogs or if we need a replacement mommy for the young dogs, Nynke takes over. When Nynke is not busy with the dogs, she expands her horizons with the mobile game Backpackers (the game has most of the team a bit of a grip) or you can find her in the cabin with her and Celine's latest achievement, a guitar.
